  • I think it's really cool that doctor mike is watching this series because he's not only confirming its accuracies and inaccuracies but since he has a lot of knowledge in this field, he can actually predict what's going to happen in the next scene. for someone like me who doesn't know much about this stuff, the anime catches me off guard a lot, but to doctor mike, he usually knows how things will play out. it's like he's a psychic but really he's just smart lol

  • 6:08 it always catches me off guard when someone mentions the autoimmune disease I have. I don't hear a lot of people talk about psoriasis, and it scared me when my doctor first told me it was incurable. Hearing you talk about it makes me feel more at ease, even though I know that autoimmune disorders can also cause lots of different types of problems. I really appreciate the video you did with brad mondo talking about psoriasis. I know this is an older video and you might never see this, but would you be able to do a video talking about psoriasis and medications? I have only ever had one medicine that really worked for me. It was an immunosuppressant called methotrexate, and it cleared all my symptoms and I really felt great. They took me off it though, because they told me it might give me complications with my reproductive health and childbirth. I dont plan on having kids at any point soon, but they took me off it regardless, and im noticing my symptoms returning. Me newest medicine is an injection and I hate it. It doesn't work very well and it gives me a reaction. I wish I could go back to methotrexate or at least find a different medicine that works. I've had psoriasis my whole life, and arthritis to go along with it, living that way is normal for me, but once I got the chance to live without it for a while... Well, I wish I could go back to that way of living. Thank you for your videos, after all my years of appointments with so many different doctors, I've had some pretty bad experiences, but you make doctors less scary.

  • A quick question: in this anime there are at least 5-6 types of immune responsive cells specifically for fighting bacteria, viruses, etc. that are all seemingly categories of white blood cells. (like macrophage and B cells and others in later episodes.) Why do we have/need so many types of cells that fight infections/bacteria etc. instead of just one type but more of them?
