Life as a doctor has been strange to say the least during COVID-19. I’ve spent a lot of time talking about our frontline healthcare workers from home, so today I wanted to bring you all along to see our heroes in person! On this vlog I walk you through a day in my life as a Family Medicine doctor, showcasing me getting my flu shot, treating patients through telemedicine, exploring our brand new COVID unit, and the brutal task of ordering lunch.
I LOVE reading your comments and take your suggestions seriously. If there’s a subject you want me to discuss or something you’d like for me to react to, leave a comment down below. Many of my videos have been born out of suggestions directly from you, so don’t hold back!

If we knew earlier maybe some of my joints could have been saved. It’s definitely a misunderstood condition sometimes.

  • THANK you for being a thorough doctor and thinking outside the box. It took me seven different specialists in two different countries to track down a diagnosis for my daughter. Finally, doing my own research, I figured out that she had EDS and took her to a geneticist in the US that confirmed what I had already figured out, that she does indeed have EDS. How nice it would have been years ago to have a doctor that thought outside the box.

  • The amount of people brainwashed by this hoax is unbelievable. Can we ask will all these rules, economic shutdowns cause more lives to be lost due to non covid related reasons than actually save lives from covid? And people wonder how the nazis got the german population to follow them. It's pure propaganda

    • @Galactic Nugget I live in Canada, the overreach of the government is getting worse, listen I came here as a refugee and I know what dictatorship looks like. People keep saying all these measures are for your safety, but I dont see it that way. I hope cooler heads prevail, and people use science based logic coupled with ethics not political science mixed with constant fear being pumped by MSM. MSM should be dismantled, it is a complete enemy of the people by dividing people. Anyway, I hope you well, but the governments scare me more than a virus

      Bat HombreBat Hombre2 күн мурун
    • @Bat Hombre I agree the virus should of been handled better, I think we had about a month or so to prepare and Trump did nothing. Hopefully if something like this happens again we will be prepared.

      Galactic NuggetGalactic Nugget2 күн мурун
    • @Galactic Nugget the virus is real, the hysteria created by the MSM and governments is the hoax created. The amount of damage they have caused is not seen yet, the number of people that will suffer and are suffering due to economic strife, plus the amount of violence that will occur due to desperation of people will be horrible. Lives lost is tragic, but we all die and we must ensure the next generation is better off than ours. This virus should have been handled differently, and people have so much mistrust in institutions due to the history of lies.

      Bat HombreBat Hombre2 күн мурун
    • It isn't a hoax, people are DYING and people are you are one of the main causes. The rules are in place to keep less people sick and more people save, economic shutdowns is not the countries fault. We had to minimize are trading system with china and other countries to stop the spr as making are economy plument. Why would the country brainwash us with a virus? Real people have gotten sick and real people have died and if you just did your part we could really get back to are normal lives.

  • is flu shot really necessary this time? i mean, people get it a lot before because no one wears masks when sick, and they just cough and sneeze and touch everything without washing hands. Now....everyone (mostly) using hand sanitizers, washing hands, wearing masks (mostly) so would spread of flu and cold be a lot smaller for the typical abiding citizen?

    ando1135ando11353 күн мурун
    • Yes it still is, because there are still people who are immune compromised and can sti easily get sick and some people can die by the flu because of how bad their immune system is. Both getting a flue shot, wearing a mask, washing your hands, and cleaning always will not only make your risk of getting the flu and covid a lot LOT lower it also decreases the risk of the people around you not just close to you but also people like in stores or on the street.

    • @Galactic Nugget as odd as this sounds even though I have my autoimmune disease i rarely get the flu which is a plus but when I do it's a health risk because I get sick differently. It's my understanding that there is more than one type of flu shot, there is a live and dead one, supposedly my family can never get the live one because it can then be transmitted to me and my allergist says it's too risky to try the dead one because of how my body responds. If things were different though I would get every year

Considering I was 14 at the time it was pretty ridiculous that I was being relied on rather than the fully trained medical professionals, but that’s the life of a 🦓. It’s honestly so nice hearing a doctor remember what he was taught and actually thinking about it. So happy for his patient, especially considering EDS normally takes 5-10 years to be diagnosed!
